34: TEN HIGHLY CARVED 19TH C. LOUIS XV STYLE DINING CHAIRS

The late 19th century French chairs in a scarce matched set of ten with shaped backs, scrolling front and side seat rails with pierce carved shell motif, four cabriole legs with whorl feet raised on a small pedestal, covered in matching red damask seat and back.
Each measures 41.75 x 21.5 x 20.5 inches.
Very good sturdy condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, some staining as shown.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
