36: A PAIR NICE FRENCH KINGSWOOD BED SIDE STANDS C. 1900

The marble tops with coved edge on finished tops with veneer banding, the case of three drawers nicely decorated in basket weave veneers, inlaid stiles, ormolu mounts at the top of the tapered leg terminating in square bronze sabots.
Each measures 31 x 24.5 x 15 inches.
Very good original condition, some small squares of veneer loss as shown in 10 or fewer areas total between the two pieces - as shown in the images, minor fade spots and some rubs on the finished tops from the marble slabs, there are no issues of actual damage or repair.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
