The case hardened frame with bluing remains and round 8-inch barrel, pinched blade front sight, walnut grip with cartouche stamp of CRS in oval for the ordnance inspector Curtis R. Stickney, short walnut forearm, inspector initials P & S on left side of the frame, four cartridges.
Pistol measures 11 inches. The case is 9 x 16.5 x 2.75 inches.
Very good condition with smooth blue grey patina, the effects of age and handling including wear and pitting, dings to the barrel, darkened areas of wood.
