The quarter sawn tiger oak case with locking removable slant front top with glass framed in wood that is not oak, brass frame with instructions on front of the case to the left of the brass coin slot marked 'PAT APLD FOR', a brass escutcheon lock next to that, a brass T-bar handle on the right end referred to on the instruction sheet, 'Drop one cent in the slot then Turn The Handle until music begins' BOSTON AUTOMATIC MUSIC BOX CO. The interior fitted with a Swiss eight-song cylinder player and song sheet along with crass apparatus to create a coin-operated function.
Measures 17.25 x 25.5 x 13.75 inches.
Very good original working condition throughout, no missing teeth, no damage, repair or heavy wear. No keys are present.
