9: A HANDSOME ANTIQUE BRASS BOUND BRITISH LETTER BOX

The solid mahogany domed form with hand-engraved brass ornamentation with aged patina applied to top, sides and key hole; highly figured mahogany woods in warm mellow patina, divided maple interior, apparently the original key, great patina overall.
Measures 4.25 x 6.25 x 3 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, damage or repair.
