Something About Leather
A very rare image created by Alphonse Mucha, purportedly for Gorham Silversmiths Manufacturing Company, titled Something About Leather and published 1897, booklet cover only in halftone gray (black and white) lithography with blue, amber and coral tint.

American commissions were rare for Mucha, this is believed to be the only known copy of this example.

Provenance: the archives of Thomas Guernsey Moore (1874-1925) the famous illustrator and graphic designer: the estate of illustrator Robert Haas. Exhibited in the 2005 Hallmark Cards exhibition.

Professionally framed and matted in archival materials.
Measures 7.5 x 5.25, the frame is 12.75 x 10.25 inches.
Very good condition, noting odd fold and some tattering to the edges, light overall toning, ink stamps from a previous collector (Thomas Guernsey Moore).
Provenance: The Estate of Robert Allan Haas.
