33: A GOOD JEWELED PARKER CAROUSEL HORSE IN ORIGINAL PAINT

The inner row stretch jumper made by Parker Company (Leavenworth), Kansas, circa 1920, glass eyes, decorative carvings, standard size with dramatic star gazer head position, single carved red blanket, saddle with original greenish brown paint, wide neck with original red paint, short-cropped mane and tail, old if not original stirrup holders and stirrups, no iron horseshoes. apparently original paint overall.
Measures 47 x 23 inches.
Good condition, largely original, no multiple layers of paint, missing belly plate, possibly replaced jewels and eyes, standard separation of wood joints, some amateur filler applied, all original wood and other parts, an old mostly untouched discovery.
