118: EARLY 19TH C. AMERICAN UNDECORATED STONEWARE JUGS

Four early 19th century American ovoid jugs:.

1. The tall, slightly ovoid jug with pronounced concentric rings and nice shading partially stamped at the shoulder for U. KENDALL'S FACTORY, CIN. Has chip on the base. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs.

2. An unsigned ovoid jug with flattened sides and characteristics of Southern U.S. potters. The handle and neck of this piece are cracked and repaired.

3. A tall slightly ovoid jug with strap handle and two-color glaze application. A large chip at the base, chip and crack at the mouth.

4. As shown with semi ovoid form, wide strap handle, tooled mouth with concentric rings, dipped upper half. Large crack to the mouth, unsigned.
