384: A STEUBEN AURENE LAMP BASE WITH TIFFANY SHADE

The cast brass base with leaves and traces of original gilding is mounted with a baluster-form gold aurene body attributed to Steuben and issuing formed brass leaves as below a semi-circle arm providing support for an art glass shade with gold favrile interior and abstract pulled decoration in two shades of gold on white exterior, the shade is signed L.C.T. on the fitter.
Measures 13 x 7 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear to any glass elements.
