9: A RARE LANTERN WITH TALL RED GLOBE CAST Union Pacific

The brass top wire frame without maker's mark attributed to George M. Clark, impressed numerals of 3083 below PAT APL'D FOR, highly embossed railroad marking of U. P. R.R. on the shoulder, tall extended lip cased red glass globe with cast lettering of Union Pacific in relief with large capital U and P.
Very good original condition, great frame surface/patina, replaced or reinforced lid latch, a minor inside flake from the bottom rim of the globe, there are no other chips, cracks or repairs to the globe, there is minor surface abrasion.
