The straight-sided stoneware jug with cylindrical mouth over the pronounced shoulder with impressed maker's mark and numeral 4 above thick blue slip lettering of Moore & Hubbard Syracuse, N.Y., stamped G.S. GUY & CO. FORT EDWARD N.Y. with blue embellish.
Measures 11.50 x 7 inches.
Good condition. noting a very minor irregularity on the edge of the unglazed portion of the top rim, large chip front end of base. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
