48: A LARGE WHITE MOUNTAIN APACHE COILED BASKET

The large, finely constructed and tightly wrapped basketry bowl woven from devil's claw and willow shoots creating a two-color design incorporating a central blossom centered by a checkered circle within eight floating diamonds having serrated edges encircled by a checkered band below the rim with half-diamonds and black edge.
Measures 4.75 x 19 inches.
Very good condition, noting some minor rim loss as shown. There are no major issues of damage and no repair.
