61: A PAIR LOUIS XV PERIOD FRUITWOOD FAUTEUILS

The classic pair with a floral spray at the top center of the crest rail (one differs from the other) and spoon carved frame joining open arms with scroll knuckles, undulating seat rails with carved floral decoration and cabriole legs, pegged construction throughout.
Each measures 34.5 x 25.5 x 26, seat height 16 inches.
Good condition, noting repair to the proper right front leg of one, otherwise very good, some scattered insect damage and the effects of age and use, no other damage or repair.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
