142: A 19TH CENTURY BUDDHIST REPOUSSE BUTTER LAMP

The Tibetan temple or monastery altar lamp embossed with auspicious symbols centering the repoussé panels around the rim with upswept sides atop the tapering cylindrical standard. No markings were found and the metal content is not known.
Measures 3 x 5 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or wear.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
