ARTHUR HALL (1889-1981) PENCIL SIGNED DRYPOINT ETCHING

104: ARTHUR HALL (1889-1981) PENCIL SIGNED DRYPOINT ETCHING

Arthur William Hall (1889-1981)
Sunny Balconies (1927)
The drypoint etching signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right, titled lower left, initialed within the plate and dated 1927.

Norma Bassett Hall and her husband, Kansas artist Arthur Hall, worked and studied in Europe from 1925 to 1927, mostly traveling France and Britain. This view from France may have been of special interest to the Olsens as it's said that Georgia got extra enjoyment from views with wash on the line.
Image measures 7.25 x 9.25 with a framed size of 17 x 19.25 inches.
Very good to fine condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
