149: A GOOD, HIGHLY STACKED TRAMP ART BOX WITH PEDESTAL BASE

The fine example of 'Tramp Art' work displaying various angles of chip carved mahogany stacks displaying warm patina and a satin finish with slightly softened tips from age and use. The complex composition is raised on an integral platform base and an arch is carved from the stack above the lock. One of the panels displays the branded mark of 'SUPERIOR' from one of the mahogany cigar boxes.
Measures 6.25 x 8.5 x 6 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
