17: AN EARLY 20TH C. BRONZE MARQUEE WITH CUT BACK GLASS

A good early 20th century (previously lighted) bronze frame marquee from the top of an 'INFORMATION' booth, as one would see in a Union Station for rail passengers, with glass panels of black glass cased on white and cut back for enhanced display effectiveness when back lit, one end retains a cast iron pilaster with scroll.
Measures 6 x 12 x 18 inches.
Very good condition, noting one frosted glass pane lying loose and with a corner chip, there may have been another iron end piece.
