342: A JEWELED C.W. PARKER FLAG JUMPER CAROUSEL HORSE C. 1920

The joined and carved wood inner row figure with tucked head and American flag carved on both sides by C.W. Parker company (Leavenworth), Kansas most likely originated on a traveling machine. With jewels on the off-side of the horse, she was most likely positioned on the very inside row so that the jewels might be seen from the other side by other carousel riders.
Measures 61 x 60 x 11 inches including the pole.
Good presentable condition in old park paint with issues: the tail and jewels are replacements, the rein rings, stirrups, belly pate and three shoes are missing, one Parker shoe remains, knee joints on all four legs have old bolt repairs.
