The etching with remarques is signed by the artist in brown medium below the image lower right and numbered 46 from an edition of only 50 prints printed in Paris on VanGelder Zonen paper between 1932 when Braque completed his work in the illustration of Hesiod's Theogony, a collaboration with the famous publisher Ambroise Vollard, and 1939 when the printing of the plates was finished.
Plate size 14 x 11.5, sheet is 21 x 15, the frame measures.
Very good condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, puncture or repair, a mat burn as shown.
