The lithograph signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and in the plate is from an edition of 250 prints published by Associated American Artists, Fath number 10.

In The Lithographs of Thomas Hart Benton by Creekmore Fath, Benton comments that this composition was, 'Drawn from a section of Missouri Mural at State Capitol in Jefferson City MO. Shows a sorghum mill in the middle ground - mule powered.'
Image measures 10 x 16, sheet size 14.75 x 19 inches.
Very good to fine condition, noting chips to the extreme outer edge as shown, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no other damage, stain, puncture or repair.
