Financial District (1931)
The iconic New York skyline lithograph signed by the artist in pencil lower right is printed on Rives BFK paper in an edition of only 75 prints, Duffy 155. This example is a nice, strong impression printed in collaboration with the master lithographer George Miller (1894-1965), himself the subject of museum exhibitions documenting his contributions to fine art lithography and artists like Cook who were seeking to utilize and perfect the medium of lithography during the early 20th century.
Image measures 13.25 x 10.25, sheet size 23 x 16 inches.
Very good to fine condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair; unframed.
