Mr. Gantt studied painting at the Dallas Art Institute in the early 1930s and at the Kansas City Art Institute later that decade, first under Ross Braught and then Thomas Hart Benton.
Measures 16 x 12 inches, no frame.
Very good original condition, there are no major issues of damage or repair, scattered bits of storage, stacking wear and light surface debris.
Provenance: The artist's family by descent.
