210: A RARE GORHAM MARTELÉ CIRCULAR TRAY CIRCA 1875

The circular tray with undulating rim is chased in repoussé flower heads interspersed with random uniquely formed cabochons and embellished with a short raised rim at the four points of the compass, The central dished area with four diagonally positioned lobes is centered by a monogram sculpted in relief amid patterns of spot hammering. The back side is stamped with the Gorham Martelé mark, numerals 9584 letters H X N and the size designation 14In.
