The slab built bear in the form of a fetish with heart line and inlaid turquoise and tinklers is unidentified despite the scratched signature inside one leg.

An unsigned coil built stoneware vessel adorned with heishi beads is included.
Measure 11.25 x 9 x 7 and 7 x 10 x 4.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
