The low, bulbous form with silvered rims and striking enamels of wired and other cloisonné forget-me-not floral decoration, stamped signature mark on the base rim.
Measures 8.5 x 8 x 8 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
