The egg tempera on panel is signed lower right. This work comes from a member of the artist's family who provided the following, 'The ceramic owl seen in the... still life was made by KCAI colleague and good friend, John Wisely. (My younger sister has the piece, though one 'ear' is chipped.) Father's correspondence over the years with Wisely had him living and exhibiting stone sculptures in NYC.'
Board measures 9.25 x 12 with a framed size of 13.5 x 16.5 inches.
Good original untouched condition. noting some chips on the upper left quadrant.
Provenance: From the artist's family by descent.
