261: ORIGINAL NU GRAPE SODA TIN SIGNS AS POP ART

The 'assemblage' comprised of only two pieces could be perceived as a nod to Andy Warhol with its repeat of 1940s Nu-Grape Soda two-dimensional die cut pop bottle form signs lithographed in seven colors on tin.
Measure 17 x 5 inches each, the frame is 21 x 16.5 inches.
Each original sign circa 1940 is in good condition, noting very light scratches on some edges, no loss or serious oxidation. Each appears to be mounted with two simple brass screws, neither has been examined outside the frame.
