The large thin wall wheel thrown vessel with subtly sloping sides and and slightly beveled rim is decorated in the artist's signature technique reminiscent of collage and confetti. There is no signature.
Measures 9 x 16 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
