The hand carved wood architectural element for a New Ireland meeting house with male figures either end having Pau shell for eyes, and a central roundel with bird and feathers. the whole painted in natural pigments with earth.
Measures 12 x 52 5 inches.
Very good condition.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts.
