The ivory field with an all over design displaying offset rows of vases issuing polychrome floral bouquets supported by meandering curvilinear vines issuing palmettes, flower heads and leaves all within a pink border enclosing continuous palmettes supported by meandering vines issuing polychrome flower heads and leaves, hand woven wool pile on cotton foundation. Circa 1910.
Measures 286 x 176 inches.
Very good condition, clean and odor free with intact sides and ends, no damage, repair, hardened areas or stain.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts.
