415: PETER MAX AND OTHER ICONIC DESIGN CIRCA 1960s

The circular Howard Miller Museum clock, Georges Briard decorated Rosenthal porcelain tray, pair of late issue Eames Birds, Peter Max tray for Iroquois China and aluminum slinky vase for Benza are offered together as one lot.
Crows measure 11 inches each, Rosenthal tray is 12.5 x 9.5, Max tray is 10 inches.
Very good condition, noting some glaze wear on the Peter Max piece, chips and wear to the housing on the clock. Working condition unknown for the clock.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
