535: A PROPER PAIR OF PORTRAITS IN MATCHING LOCKET FRAMES

The finely executed likenesses of a gentleman and a lady in the same style and same artist's hand are displayed in matching frames and presumed to be husband and wife, their poses facing one another as a proper pair, each in early 19th century garb and displayed in an oval rose gold colored bezel with pendant bail and blue velvet backing, neither is signed or identified.
Each measures 2.25 x 1.75 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
