658: AN EGYPTIAN REVIVAL ART DECO FEMALE FIGURAL ASH STAND

The semi-nude standing female figure in Egyptian motif, influenced by the worldwide fascination with King Tutankhamun's tomb discovery in 1922, is cast in plaster reinforced with internal metalwork. The figure supporting a receptacle aloft, herself rises from a base lettered Cleopatra.
Measures 28.5 x 10 inches.
Very good condition, noting age hairlines, no repair, sturdy and good, the origin of the finish is not known.
