782: TWO 19TH C. IVORY HAND FANS WITH CARVING IN HIGH RELIEF

The largest being a brisé fan with guard stick having high relief carving of Classical maiden and cupids in cartouche over neoclassical motifs and plain flat sticks previously joined by ribbon. The smaller with guard stick carved with wheat in high relief (a mourning motif in the 19th century) has plain flat sticks previously joined by ribbon.
Measures 8.75 and 10 inches.
Very good condition, noting the ribbon has decayed, there are no issues of damage or repair. Toning overall and bits of stain.
