54: A PAIR 19TH C. CAPODIMONTE PLAQUES IN JEWELED FRAMES

Relief molded tapered oval porcelain plaques depicting Prometheus and Poseidon, ebonized wood frames with ormolu insets and faceted mounted stones in colors of blue and red, openwork castings with cherubs around the outside edge. Measure 21 x 14.5 inches each. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good condition. Each frame is complete without losses, noting one loosened openwork casting that easily becomes separated. No chips, cracks, repairs or issues with the porcelain areas.
