42: AN UNUSUAL CAST IRON BIRD SHOOTING GALLERY TARGET

The iron shooting gallery target cast in the form of a roosting bird or a turkey has a great, dry peened surface form hundreds of shots and interesting tail feather detail, good dry painted surface back side in two colors, presumably original. No maker is yet associated with this unusual form.
Measures 9.25 x 10.25 x 2.25 inches.
Very good condition, noting light oxidation.
