23: A GOOD ANTIQUE BIDJAR RUNNER. ONE OF A PAIR.

The royal blue field with complex all-over pattern of eight-sided stars framed in serrated leaves within a red ground border enclosing continuous meandering curvilinear vines issuing palmettes, flower heads and leaves, two ivory guard borders enclosing continuous meandering vines linked to small flowering plants, the lustrous wool pile nicely saturated in a wide, wide range of jewel tone colors. A broad patch of abrash at one end of the royal blue field inaccurately displays in some of the images here as wear.
Measures 157 x 37 inches.
Very good condition. Clean and odor free with original side wrap, intact edges and original intact ends, no damage, repair, hardened areas or stain.
