The drypoint etching from an edition of 75 is signed by Charles Capps in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left,

The subject of this portrait was an Italian immigrant named Frank Grant who worked the streets of Wichita, Kansas ringing his bell and hawking his services as scissor and knife sharpener during the early years of the 20th century, according to an article in The Wichita Beacon, February 5, 1922.
Image measures 8.5 x 7 with a framed size of 17.75 x 14.25 inches.
Very good condition, probably the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair, there is a dark shadow of toning framing the image and a 1/8 inch strip of brown paper tape on all four sides of the sheet surface as shown, framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
