251: A MODERN DESIGN FLOOR STANDING ILLUMINATED WORLD GLOBE

The glass orb covered in lithographed paper cartography and lit from inside rests in a solid maple wood stand of mid 20th century design influence, attributed to Replogle Globes, INC, Chicago, IL circa 1948.
Measures 39.5 x 21 x 21 inches.
Very good condition, noting scattered wear and light nicks to the wood stand, especially to the lower portions of the legs.
