101: A LARGE 20TH CENTURY CHINESE MOTHER OF PEARL CABINET

A tall rectangular form mother of pearl inlaid display cabinet surmounted by elaborate openwork and inlaid crest of facing phoenix birds centering prunus flowers, case fitted with pair of glazed doors with inlaid birds and butterfly frames opening to reveal a shelved interior, glazed side panels, pierced openwork apron of inlaid prunus blossoms and raised on four cabriole legs. Measures 82 x 41.5 x 18 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Good condition, noting two 1-inch pieces of pearl lost from the crest, no other losses or repairs, the top rail over the doors with minor residue on the surface in scattered limited areas.
