The nicely executed work of 19th century realism (as with Thomas Eakins) painted on mahogany panel depicting a young woman in Edwardian fashion at a gilded mirror, her back to the viewer, pinning a rose to her bodice. There is an illegible signature lower right front, circa 1890.
Board measures 12.75 x 10.25 inches.
Very good original condition, unframed.
