172: PAIR 19TH C. BLEU CELESTE SEVRES TYPE URNS WITH BRONZE

A baluster form pair with acanthus bud finials on the covers, the fluted neck and high porcelain handles mounted with bronze on each side of the ovoid body centered by a scene of lovers in 18th century dress, the reverse with mill and cottage scenes, gold detail throughout, a bronze trim ring over the socle mounted to the heavy gilt bronze base of conforming shape with acanthus trim and four square fluted legs. The decoration is hand painted without decal or transfer. Each measures 16 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
The cover of one has been restored, each urn has restoration to one of its two handles, both have considerable loss of enamel beading.
