616: A RARE CHARLES LOTTON DOUBLE WALL MULTI FLORA BOWL

The unusual double cased bowl vase having a rolled top rim is doubly layered with a profusion of pink opalescent flowers, green striations and dark whirling ribbons skillfully layered upon a second stratum of blossoms and decoration, all suspended in transparent ruby glass much less transparent due to the complex internal decoration, the work is signed by wheel engraved mark of 'Charles Lotton 1996' along the edge of the polished base with finished pontil.
Measures 8 x 11 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
