The landscape with shocks of hay gathered in a field before foothills and low mountains is signed lower left front with Burchfield's conjoined initials CEB and dated 1947.
Sheet measures 3.5 x 10 with a framed size of 10 x 17 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
Provenance: Acquired Swann Galleries Sale 2149 - Lot 14, Jun 12, 2008 by a Kansas City collector.
