The fanciful, fictitious sculpture titled Flutaphone exemplifies the playful side of saxophonist Mark Southerland, an artist in sight and sound who was recognized by the Tanne Foundation for dedication and achievement in the arts. As a musician, Southerland has performed around the world. Regionally he has performed and exhibited at the Spencer Museum in Lawrence, and the Dolphin Gallery in Kansas City.
Measures 28.5 x 7.5 x 14 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage, wear or repair.
