763: AN ARTS AND CRAFTS OAK AND BRASS DINNER BELL

The fumed oak structure with peaked top over a Gothic opening suspends the original brass bell with nice patina on a square support above the wood plaque lettered 'No Music to Me Sounds, Half So Well, As the Welcome Ring, of the Dinner Bell.'
Measures 21.25 x 12.5 x 6.5 inches.
A nice example in original untouched condition with fine patina overall and no issues of damage, wear or repair.
