A finely executed interior scene depicting a Bishop issuing a reprimand to a French Military officer. Titled 'Une Reprimande', signed lower left, canvas measures 8.5 x 12, frame measures 13 x 16.75 inches.
Very good original condition with three minor exceptions being a dent with chipped paint mid-field, a chip lower left and a pin hole puncture middle right.
