220: A 19TH C. ROSEWOOD OGEE SHELF CLOCK SIGNED J.C. BROWN

The ogee case, painted metal dial, Roman numerals, an eglomise lower door panel displaying a two color wood engraving titled 'Croton Fountain N.Y.', a view of the New York monument, eight day with time and strike, signed by a paper label inside the case, the dial and lower door panel are of the period and presumably the original.
Measures 29 x 16.5 x 4.25 inches.
Scattered veneer chips, wear and light losses to the painted dial.
