12: A CIRCA 1900 GERMAN AUTOMATON BIRD CAGE CLOCK

A brass wire cage houses a feathered bird that pivots back and forth in sync with the ticking seconds, a circular dial revolves just below the central shaft topped by a nest with three eggs. Winding mechanism and adjustment under the square base. Winds and runs at time of examination. Measures 4.25 x 2.5 inches.
Good condition noting the effects of age and use evident overall. No damage or loss. Winds and runs during examination but as with all time pieces the running condition is not guaranteed.
