A shallow oval polished agate basin with caryatid handles atop a silver filigree platform centered by a natural pearl and set with red and green gemstones among accents of enamel decoration; a female support figure on enameled filigree foliate dome base set with red cabochon gemstones and faceted green gemstones within six panels centered by a natural pearl, itself surrounded by white enamel petals. Stamped hallmarks inside the silver gilt base include the dog's head for Hungary. Measures 6.5 x 6 inches.
Slightly uneven position, otherwise very good. There are no losses, no damage, or repair.
